According to the new surver conducted, The Exorcism tops the scare list followed by The Shinning and Alien is next.

Here’s what we read:

he Exorcist, William Friedkin’s iconic 1973 movie, has been voted the best horror film ever made, according to a new poll of British filmgoers. Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, the 1980 film of Stephen King’s classic novel, was placed second in the survey, followed by Ridley Scott’s 1979 movie Alien.

Four other films in the top 10 were released between 1970 and 1984 – Wicker Man (1973), The Omen (1976),Halloween (1978) and Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).

The three others featuring at the top of the list were The Silence of the Lambs (1991), Ring (1998 and Saw (2004)).

FW Murnau’s Nosferatu is the oldest film on the list, having been released in 1922, while The Mist and Shutter, the DVD versions of which were released this year, are the most recent.

More than 6000 people were surveyed by entertainment retailer HMV on its website between September 19 and October 20 for the poll.

Yesterday, I bought this new book from Superstore/Metrotown in Burnaby Canada. This is my newest addtition to my collection of Stephen King books. I forgot to blog about this last night, been busy listening and dowloading mp3 streaming music, specially Nessun Dorma.

Nice eh? I finally going to know what’s they’ve (Stephen King fans) been talking about. They said that this book is great. I bet it is.

Looks like making money online will have to wait a little longer. Even though I miss Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera, I have to read about Lisey Landon’s adventure to Juno Beach.

honestly, I haven’t seen the movie nor read the Stephen King book “Children of the Corn” so I’m not really sure if the movie is great (but the book must be great.. )

“Children of the Corn” was originally one of King’s short stories that was later compiled in the anthology “Night Shift.” The 1984 film based on the story starred Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton. Many sequels have followed.

I’ve read that the book will have a remake movie? Let’s wait and see

It was April 1 of this year (or May31, something) when I first saw the movie The Shining, the original, which starring Jack Nicholson.

The other day I bought the DVD of The Shining TV special which aired sometime on 1997 (Jack Nicholson movie was 1980, btw). Yesterday we watched the whole 6 hour/3 DVD set!

It was great!

Just want to mention here that I prefer the TV special, not that I don’t like Jack N. I do,.. it just that the TV is better, imho. Plus Stephen King directs it.

Also, just want to mention here that there was no mortgage and refinancing story about the Overlook hotel. Movies showing there was also not about Redtube and TUbe8 ok? Just want to make it straight.

Yep that’s true, I’ve seen it. Marvel already released teh video trailer of their lates collaborative work with Stephen King, “The Stand”.

I couldn’t find any video of it yet on yuotube (Utube), that’s why I couldn’t post it here, but  you can check out this link to see if for yourself.

Mr. Stephen King has this unfinished, unpublished short story that is being released on original graphic video called simply “N”.

The 25-part animated film are being shown every weekday which started this week until August 29, 2008!

This is exciting news for all Stephen King fans out there!

Found this on UTube when I was browsing for anything interesting to watch… (Interesting to watch? Badjojo and Yuvutu? Kidding..:D)

Currently, I’m reading the paperback version of it. When I saw this, it got me all excited.. I’m a stephen king fan, obviously.

Stephen King’s “The Stand” (along side “The Dark Tower” masterpiece of course) are considered by fans as Mr. Kings Magnum Opus.

The recent news has it that after the highly adaptation of “The Gunslinger” into a graphic novel, Marvel will be doing the same for the classic apocalyptic novel “The Stand”

The production will oversee the whole project being the acting as a creative supervisor, and it’s going to be written by Roberto Sacasa, with art by Mike Perkins and covers by Lee Berjemo.

The first issue will be released by September of this year

There are unanswered question still:

• How many issues will the series run?
• Is this going to be a direct adaptation?
• Or is it going to be like The Dark Tower in that it will be a kind of spin-off?

Stephen King fans are surely excited about this! Including me! I have my own set of The Gunslinger marvel comics myself!
